Douliana village  is  in the center of  the  district of Apokoronas and at equal distance from ALMIRIDA BEACH, , and VAMOS   at  3-4 kms and  very close to other beaches like KERA, KALIVES, GEORGIOUPOLIS, etc.

All around  are traditional villages, with fine examples of traditional and neoclassical architecture in new and renovated buildings.

 Do visit the lovely countryside, eat traditionally, and meanwhile observe (depending on the season) all of the agricultural activities by local people. Get informed about religious festivities around, which always end up with music and popular dances.

Take the old National road from KALIVES toward VRISES, stop in ARMENI village, where springs emerge below the tall trees, and enjoy your lunch. Take exciting trips to the high mountains or  drive through to the south coast and the Libyan sea.

From Iliopetra homes you can make everyday excursions to the sandy beaches of Almirida and Kalives (3-4 km), which are in short walking distance through a magnificent olive and cypres  forest  

The beach of Almirida is granted with a blue flag by Authorities ,pure sea water-clean-public WC-life guards etc.) There many sport activities taken place  ( rent a boat and lessons for  surfing-sailing ).
